Ode To Another Week

This is my complain that the weekend is over. Another week, of stress, of work, of being obligated to go to bed early, of having to blowdry my hair, of making dinner, of taking Piper to the babysitters, of longing for Friday, of David Letterman and the news before bed. Hey atleast this week ends with Moab. This week I lost a friend at work, he quit. I will miss him, so that sucks. He also stocks the fridge with Diet Coke for me. I am the only one that drinks it but he does it anyway.. how will I survive now? So I am even less excited to work this week.
So my cousin (she lives in Oregon) she sent me an mp3 of music, so this is the music I am listening to this week, I will let you know whats good and if any of its worth checking out.. even though some may already know.

Ben Harper: Both Sides Of The Gub
Broken Social Scene
Built To Spill: YOu In Reverse
Floater: Alter
Damien Rice
Bright Eyes: Im Wide Awake Its Morning
Jack Johnson and Friends: Curious George Sntrack'
NIN: one song called Right Where it Belongs ( good song)

I see you've got the chill, and the kinda chill, kinda experimental music going on this list. That's great. Let me know what you think is the pick of the litter. I've listened to atleast a little of most of those, but haven't had the time to dive into many of them.
BTW I'm gonna look up Brandston. I think you may have gave me some awhile ago, but again... so much music, so little time.

If you look up Brandston look up the disk send us a signal. Its awesome.Oh and I found my Pinback. Its called Blue Screen and I listened to it and remembered how much I loved it.

Broken Social Scene is by far the best. They are pretty cool.

Hey and thanks for the pep talk! Its hard to remember you are doing good leaving your baby to make money and still cant pay all the bills!! Its kinda discouraging. It never ends, so its nice to have some postive words. You are a great individual.
