This Bugs Me

Since Utah likes to stress "family values" - at least we say we do - I really hate it how companies use that as a marketing ploy.

For example

Macey's - "There's a family feeling at Macey's" - What the heck does that have to do with buying groceries? Do you have better prices? Service? Higher Quality? Isn't that what I should look for in a grocery store? nope, at a grocery store you want a family feeling?

Bear River Mutual Insurance - "Where Values Count" - I'm glad values count. You're an insurance agency. You make huge profits.

Deseret First Credit Union - I know this is for church members but man those commercials are annoying.

Hmm... seems you can't edit comments, or I'm dumb.. as I was saying before I found a screaming dumb error in spelling -

Bear River Mutual = Best Insurance you can have here in Utah. Yes, they all rape you, but BRM takes care of its customers fast and covers a lot more than the other shmucks out there.
