New at this ...
Takes some encouragement and a lot of reminders to get good old Mrs. Conformity to put her thoughts down. Let me just say that this is not easy for me. I'm pretty much "what you see is what you get." I've never considered myself one who has a whole lot of depth when it comes to literature, music, movies, etc... I keep it pretty simple. There are few topics about which I could talk all day... Motherhood, religion, my experience living in Utah, exercise... to name a few.
I've really enjoyed reading your entries and learning a little more about each one of you. Kudos to El Dorko for his entry on judgment in the church... well said. I must admit, I long for the day when I can live in a place where I am the minority again. It's much more chill!!! The diversity (religious as well as ethnic) drowns out the chance to look at Bro/Sis Jones next door (and all over the neighborhood for that matter) and compare how long their Family Home Evening is to yours. I AM Mrs. Conformity. I don't mind wearing my religion on my sleve. That's how I've always lived my life. It's what made me different. It's been acceptable, even commendable until moving to my current location. Now it's labeled self-righteous.... unfortunate... yet again, just another judgement. I could talk on this subject for hours...... but I'm not going to.... you're welcome Windypops:)

Welcome to the table Mrs. Conformity. I love the name you chose. That is great. I hope to be able from this blog to get a better understanding of the way you think and what you truely feel. I think that you are a great insight to many of us and hope that you can just let whatever you think fly. Again welcome.
Something new is never easy. You WONDERFUL wives need to know you have TONS of great stuff to say. Deep doesn't equal important, but smart + sincere = pure wisdom.
