My favorite four-chord wonders...

OK, these songs are not groundbreaking stuff, but something has to be said for someone that can take four chords that seem like they are in every single song out there, and turn it into something new, and likable. At least likable for Sam. All of them don't have the EXACT same four chords, but they are similar so.. you get the idea.
1)Four Chord Wonder by the Ataris - Ironic or not? I'll ask Alanis. I have to put the Ataris on this tho.
2)Where is my Mind? by the Pixies - GREAT song. No need to explain.
3)So Contagious by Acceptance - This song reminds me of Amber and I driving through the snow capped mountains in Colorado. The whole song reminds me of my thoughts on Amber.
4)Okay, I Believe You, But My Tommy Gun Don't by Brand New - This song has atmosphere so thick... it's like fog, man. GREAT lyrics.
5)Hannah Hold On by the Get Up Kids - A breakup song, from my times dating Amber. Good song tho.
6)Hit or Miss by New Found Glory - Four Chords is basically all they do, but this one has stuck with me.
7)Divine Intervention by Taking Back Sunday - Great song by my standards. New CD, better than their last, which says alot cuz I loved the last one.
8)Island in the Sun by Weezer - One of the few Weezer songs I can still dig. Ya dig?
We'll end it with that.

You can add to that the entire Green Day library, and 75% of Led Zeppelin. Great stuff there.
"What could you possibly see in little 3 chord me?" - Weezer
It's amazing how many different bands have used the same formula. Some get it to work for them and you like it, and some songs just don't float your boat. I don't know why I like some, and not others. Radio thrives on this stuff.
