For me, my testimony means I believe what the general authorities and prophet says. If you believe in the prophet then you believe what he says. Good articles.

But I am not one to have to question everything.. Maybe I am just weak or lazy.

Wow! What powerful words. I love our leaders, and I love the doctrine they teach. As I was arguing against abortion in social and political language my beliefs were behind all my words, reinforcing them.
I can't add to the teaching that was in those talks, but I would like to bring to our attention something from the Proclamation on the Family:
"We call upon responsible citizens and officers of government everywhere to promote those measures designed to maintain and strengthen the family as the fundamental unit of society."
Abortion does not maintain and strengthen the family, therefore I don't simply want to avoid it myself, but I support measures to deny people who are ignorant to the gravity of their choices the opportunity to weaken the family in such an ugly way.
