SONGTOBERFEST VI

Steve
Classified - C.W. McCall

Sam
Divine Intervention - Taking Back Sunday
Pretty cool little four chord wonder. I like!!!

Orlando Magic Song
Here's that extra song I was going to post. It's pretty much awesome.

Best Father/Story of Love Ever

I love Rick Reilly's articles, he's a great writer. Here's a link to an article he wrote. Someone posted it on another site with a video below. Read the article, then watch the video. The music is unnecessary, but the imagery is inspiring. It's probably one of the greatest stories of selflessness I've ever heard. It honestly makes me feel so good inside. What an awesome father.

SONGTOBERFEST V

We missed a day. Wo is me. Maybe I'll post a make-up song. Maybe not.

Sam
Jacksonville - Sufjan Stevens
Sufjan is a great example of using different instruments for specific purposes. It's not like: "Well, our band has two guitars and a bass, so that's what our songs will have." Plus it has my recent favorite instrument, BANJO. Overall, I just love Sufjan... intimately.

SONGTOBERFEST IV

Jake
Enfilade - At the Drive-In
I bet At the Drive In was on a lot of drugs when they made this song.

Sam
Ratatat - Seventeen Years
This is one of my favorite songs of this year. The rock is laid on so thick, no lyrics are necessary. Kick back, crank it up, fill the house with the rock, and paint your toenails.
