PLEASE LISTEN TO THESE
Mew is a Danish band whose CD's are all imported here. I have to confess...I have a ...well...a "special copy." PLEASE LISTEN to the songs Snow Brigade, The Zookeeper's Boy, and Behind the Drapes. You may have your "special avenues" to get the music. They are not in iTunes. I can send them to anyone who wants them...but my good golly. You HAVE to try them. My mission buddy gave me their stuff....they are the best music that I own that I don't actually own :) Its just too pricey right now. Someone take me up on this!!! You won't be sorry!

I listened and it was good. I did like it, but there's one thing I wish the danes, the swedes, and the europeans in general would do if they're gonna sing in english: lose that "Ace of Bass" way of singing. They speak english so well that when they sing it, they do it kinda mechanically and very... correctly. Slur your speech, make a word sound different. No more "I saw the sign."
Let me rephrase it... I like it. The music is really interesting. The chords are different, like you said. The one thing that reminded me of Ace of Bass, is the pro-nun-ci-a-tion of the words. They reminded me of other Euro Bands. The songs were good. I liked it. Just one thing I'd change. I only listened to the songs once, so this is first impressions too. Keep sending me interesting music. This is good.
